Changelog | VGMix Archive

New look styled after VGMix 2, using its original window artwork where it survives.
New All Songs page: every song known to have been posted on VGMix, VGMix 2 and VGMix X, with whether the archive has it, its VGMix 2 tier, and a link to its archived page on the Wayback Machine.
Over 2,000 songs added since Archive 2.0, recovered from old collections, VGMix 1 song lists and Wayback Machine captures.
Over 1,300 of them come from a crawl of every VGMix 2 download link, made in February 2006 and shared with us on IRC by tholin. Huge thanks! It brought back about 700 VGMix 2 songs we had listed as missing, plus over 600 that no surviving page even mentioned, and gave us full-length, better-quality copies of 21 songs we already had.
Every Stuff of Legends song is now in the archive, including Eric Barker's "Brain Hill Zone (solo piano)", Michael Dover's "Water Music" and JH's "Keep Going [CandyMix]", which had been missing.
Songs that are hosted elsewhere (mostly OverClocked ReMix) now link straight to their new home.
Every song's tags were cleaned up: consistent titles and game names, songs with several artists list each one, the original VGMix descriptions were added where the old pages survive, and each song links to the page it came from.
Exact duplicates and a few songs that turned out not to be game music arrangements were removed.
The player now uses your browser's built-in audio player.
Join us on Discord (the old IRC channel is retired).

3,549 songs, with a torrent of the whole archive.
Site restyled after VGMix 2.
Special thanks to Nario, Bradless, Txai, Warfreak2, F4T4L_3RR0R and everyone else who helped fill out the archive.

First release of the VGMix Archive by ThaSauce Network and virt: songs from VGMix, VGMix 2 and VGMix X, with a torrent of the collection.
